Flavor managed to hunt down a slowdown, related to SDL. Now everything runs SMOOTH as it should (on Wiz).

Flavor, our GP2x and Wiz porter, has made a sweet video of Giana’s Return running on the Wiz. It’s for now pretty slow, as it’s a straight out of the box compile, without optimizing. But hey… it works! :)
Warp Zones?!
A questions to you guys out there. One world has 8 levels, how many “Warp Zones” would you suggest per world?
Our Level-Designer is currently playing with the thought to have a WZ level leading to another WZ level – So if you could find ALL WZ’s you’ll have a pretty much “Speedrun” game.
Other than that, two WZ’ would be enough per world?
We don’t want to have it too easy after all… :)
Swamp Levels
More than half of the swamp levels are designed, there are just two levels left to complete the total amount for this world.
Currently we are missing “only” four levels
2 x Swamp
1 x Lava
1 x Big Boss
We expect to have the leveldesign done within the next week.

Summer Time – Active Time
It’s getting summer and it seems everyone of the team is getting more and more busy. We are currently having some unexpected slowdowns – we still miss 9 levels but the final boss is almost done.
